Marcus Fenix
Son of the famed military scientist Adam Fenix, Marcus established a reputation as a brilliant soldier during the Pendulum Wars, earning numerous field promotions and decorations. He was on a fast track to an outstanding military career until the war with the Locust Horde.
When the Horde breached Jacinto Plateau's defenses, Marcus defied orders to save his father. Marcus was charged with dereliction of duty and was sentenced to 40 years in Jacinto Maximum Security Penitentiary.
Four years into his sentence, the Horde overtook the penitentiary but Marcus was rescued by his best friend Dominic Santiago, so that he could rejoin the fight against the unstoppable Locust Horde. He is Voiced by John DiMaggio
Dominic Santiago
Dom is a vocal, colorful and yet practical soldier. He's loyal to a fault, especially with his friends, and has no patience for those that think of themselves first.
Dominic has always believed in his country and his leaders, but his faith has been slipping in the face of this endless war. Dom lost his wife in the Emergence Day cataclysm. For him, the fight against the Horde is deeply personal.
By testifying in Marcus' defense, Dom prevented an execution, but was forced to accept the heavy judgment the military tribunal handed down to his childhood friend. Never forgetting, Dom seized his first opportunity to save Marcus' life, and convinced Lieutenant Minh Young Kim to enlist Marcus into his squad.{Lion Ata's favorite character.}
Augustus Cole
A former thrashball superstar turned soldier. Cole, aka "The Cole Train", is an adrenaline junkie and former professional thrashball player. He craves action, and prefers to take the most direct path to the Locust Horde in any situation. What he lacks in finesse, he makes up for in raw energy.
Along with his child-like enthusiasm and charm, Cole is supremely confident in his own abilities to overcome anything, regardless of the odds—and he hasn't been proven wrong yet.
Cole and Damon Baird have served together for years, and he treats Baird as he would an older brother with a younger brother's license to torment.
Damon Baird
Cocky... but smart enough to survive. Despite being a reluctant and cynical soldier, Baird excels at the military life. Baird is perfectly capable of being a successful officer, but has never been promoted due to his poor attitude, short temper and his unwillingness to take on any responsibility.
Baird's greatest strength is his intelligence. He not only fights the Locust, but he studies and observes them as well. He's the closest the COG has to an expert, and when Baird tells his comrades to be quiet and listen, they know it is in their best interest to do exactly that.
Baird's only motivation is self preservation. He's willing to do whatever it takes to get through the war alive -- even march alongside a troublemaker like Fenix.
Anya Stroud
Anya Stroud is a high-ranking female Lieutenant. She is the friendly informist, and conversationalist for Delta Squad. Her and Marcus have a childhood connection, along with Dom. Overall, she is a great help in the successes of Delta Squad, and apparently is the only one that makes Marcus worry in the end.
Colonel Victor Hoffman
A senior officer who can still fight with the best of them. He gives the COG all the orders, he hits on Anya, and picks on Marcus, but his armor is absolutely pimpin'.
Minh Young Kim
A by-the-book officer who bleeds in the trenches with his men.Lieutenant Kim is a proud, dedicated and ambitious soldier, a by-the-books believer in all things COG. To Kim, the Coalition of Organized Governments is humanity's only hope for survival and feels that it is an honor and privilege to serve as a Gear.
Kim moved quickly through the ranks, but after a run of bad luck he was left leading the misfits of Delta Squad. Feeling undervalued and overlooked, Kim has something to prove.
Only the strength of Dom's faith -- and the scarcity of experienced soldiers - convinced Kim to consider bringing former prisoner Fenix into his squad. He is more than honered to die for his fellow man.
Dizzy Wallin
Dizzy is your ordinary redneck survivalist, He is a local in a small group of Stranded. Dizzy Wallin is from a family of Stranded rescued by Operation Lifeboat, a C.O.G. program which evacuated Stranded families to COG-controlled zones in exchange for the able bodied men of the family serving in the military.
Maria Santiago
Dominic Santiago's loyal and faithful wife, that ends up getting captured by locust. Her and Dom had two little girls together and lived a happy, and love-filled life...until E-day when thier two little girls were killed in riots, and raids of mixed people and locust. Devastated by the major loss of her children, and the loss of time spent with her husband Dom. (Dom was fighting on the COG frontlines with Marcus and never got to spend time with his severely depressed wife), she escaped the COG holding facility and was picked up by Stranded...and was later found in a torturing cell by Dom and Marcus. Dom did what he had to do....
Tai Kaliso
Tai Kaliso is a spiritual and meditative warrior from a tradition of honor-bound fighters. He views the war from a spiritual standpoint, which often confuses the other soldiers. Nonetheless, he is still well liked by his fellow squad members. Tai and Marcus fought together during the Pendulum Wars, and have a history of saving each other's lives. Before he joined Delta Squad Tai fought alone, after each battle he performed a spiritual ceremony that he belived would restore his honor, and clease his spirit.
Jack
The loyal and loved robot Jack has just about every high-tech tool in his small arsenal... He hacks doors and smoulders them open, he even has a state-of-the-art camo system built in his circuits. He has a small built in screen for 24/7 video contact, and for audio hearing.
Anthony Carmine
Voted "most likely to get shot" in the academy. Carmine is a good soldier, he is brave, and loyal. He follows Kim more than anyone. He trusts Kim with his life. He is always trying to be cheerful...even in death.
Benjaman Carmine
A rookie who wanted to be enlisted in the COG army to try and live up to his brother's massive reputation. Ben Carmine is the youngest brother of 4 well...3, wait now its 2 hmmm...anyways, he is a rookie who is Green as Grass and Learns very fast. Sadly, he comes to his certain doom by getting eaten alive from his chest to his stomach. R.I.P.
Chairman Prescott
Chairman Richard Prescott is the dictatorial military leader of the C.O.G. who has mandated several sweeping authoritarian powers to the government to control the remaining human population and fight off the Locust Horde in the wake of E-Day. These actions have made him unpopular with those who feel the C.O.G. has overstepped its bounds in the name of security, but Prescott has dedicated himself to the survival of humanity, whatever the cost may be. Colonel Hoffman is Prescott's second-in-command.
